Many mysterious deaths had occurred at that sharp bend just before the Ijok graveyard.That was just near the boundary of an Oil Palm Plantation.At the edge of that hill was also an Indian temple.
Many of such accidents were caused by head on collision of vehicles especially lorries heavily laden with goods crushing on errant motor cyclists.That place was of course cursed with people having seen ghostly figures on that stretch of road..
Every time I traveled home late at night I always dread that stretch of road and always looked straight ahead as I carefully drove on.This being so because I have heard many dreadful tales along this road.In many cases I always traveled with another, a driver.
There were time when travelers had seen a white lovely female figure drifting by the side of that road waiting for passerby to make a pass at them.Well,do that and you can imagine the unthinkable.Anyway no one dared do that to live to tell about it.
Many believe that some of those killed in road accidents along that stretch were out to seek a replacement for their predicaments.That was reason that every year some one would be killed along that dangerous stretch.
